West Coast, no encounters ordered and no map, tote or die yet.

EDIT - Oops, 2 boxed shipments and another of the remote only in an envelope.

Is there a pattern to who did and who did not get die & tote?

I have not received mine - I got the Cavern Starter and odds and ends - no full encounters - i have everything (at least i think i do... i have to check) except the die & tote - starting to wonder if it is a mistake and i need to bug Chuck, or is it just part of the chaos of shipping stuff in 3-4 separate shipments????

i don't think the magnets on the towers would be strong enough to contain a metal dice with a good throw. also if we use the standard 50 mm [2"] walls then an 8" x 8" would be needed, maybe we can combine the DF dice tray with the chessboard idea? https://www.dwarvenforge.com/forum/view ... 22&t=11113
Sounds like you have turned using dice towers into an Olympic sport. Most players we know just drop the dice in rather than launching them into the tower from over the table.

Adds an element of jeopardy and chaos which can be fun, even if you destroy the tower.

when i get my die i will check the structural integrity of the castle tower wall's adherence to the base, maybe mount the the base at an angle and drop the die from increasing heights

...

Cannot see us using the D20 in anger, too much potential collateral damage! Obviously not to any dwarvenite :)

...
good thing the d20 is the only item i'm waiting, once i get it i won't be angry anymore thus won't need to throw it
Yes throwing it in anger would be dangerous, perhaps use a Castles Trebuchet?

Isnt that the dod round room? Or a castle tower base? Maybe a city builder floor with solid walls?

speaking of the deadliness of the metal die, has there been any chatter about DF making a dwarvnite dice tray? maybe a 6"x6" 'floor' with 'wall' something that could function as both a dice tray and functional terrain? might need to add a door that does not open easily [so dice don't roll out] that way it can function more as terrain
