The three inch escarpments indeed open up a lot of possibilities. I cut a few straight streets from CBS and a few sluiceways from sewers in half and they give me some nice options.

So Nate only takes his knife to foam Mock-ups (that he can gorilla glue back together), while a really dedicated fan will take that knife to REAL parts.

I agree those 3" escarpments give a lot of nice options, including some narrow canyons that are not too narrow. Thanks for all the concept shots.

I’m really liking the geometry possibilities of the 3x3 escarpment... will cut up another one tomorrow.

Clever, you drafted a 3 inch line across the scatter terrain so the new flat edge could match up to a 3" tile. Nice. The simple cut straight across would have left you something like 2.4 inches and matching up to almost nothing. That length even looks decent against the banks.
Exactly... spent alot of time looking at geometry before doing the mark and cut.

Well I figured they were hallow, but I was not positive given the heft. That confirms it. So hard to chop those tiles up, but I know doing it to unpainted is a lot easier. Depending on how things go, I might head down that path at some point.
