The dread hollow stuff is surprisingly turning out to be my favorite from this KS. Trees are coming next week!

Very cool Z. 8-)
I'm Jelly...

I'll bet the folks at Dwarven Forge have not even had time (or thought) enough to do this, so I think there will definitely be swamps. They really need to give us (and them) more time to let the "bottle breath", but nope onward, outward and underward... ;)

I so want a whole bunch of new City Builder options and wonder if they will really ever get back to the CBS. :?:

Sooooo, if we can already make swamps, does this mean KS7 is cancelled? *ducks*

The other cool thing with the banks is they can also make small islands without much trouble to drop on top of any sort of terrain. I was doing that with some when I the lightbulb to go grab some trays and make the swamp. I did get a lot of banks and I am glad I did now that I have used them a bit. (I was worried I have done overkill when I was unboxing stuff...) (nah, those were just foolish thoughts...)

I was thinking the same thing about swamp water. Nice to see it works out great with DH!

Also a couple of other shots on the build, a narrow canyon and how multiple tiers of escarpments work out. I can see that repetition will be a concern, but between various stumps and tree sizes it should be manageable.

Forest Banks with Cave Water and DH

Post by zenako » Wed Jan 22, 2020 7:01 pm

I got all my banks and extra forest stuff on Tuesday and spent some time playing around with them.

Turns out the cave water also looks good as "swamp water" if you have the banks come down to it. I took some shots of that.
