Great pictures iPaint :)
Looking forward to seeing more.

We don't have any caverns, so we are free to pick any of the environments.
The difficulty with both Underdoom and Ice is that they need support from the other cavern add-ons to be made available in these new paint schemes.

I'll post an update to my Underdark thread soon with a list of paints and steps, keep an eye out there.

I am looking forward to it
Me too! Hope it's out before the KS is done as I might just go unpainted with your scheme!

I also really love the Underdoom scheme, although iPaint also gave a terrific version too (I would LOVE to get your paint list and step-by-step guide to how you did that, iPaint!):

Seems the color scheme is very similar to what I landed on for a test set of Underdark caverns.

I even like the idea of collecting BOTH the basic caverns colour and the Underdoom colour. I play AD&D 2e Forgotten Realms, where there actually IS a distinction between "upper" Underdark and "lower" Underdark, and the two cave colour schemes really help drive home that difference visually.

I would get a few rooms in Underdoom if I had the budget. My first priority is a complex collection of KS2 compliant pieces. I suspect my second priority will be Dreadhollow.

If by a miracle there is anything left: ice or Underdoom (probably Underdoom) basic pieces for a room or niche. Just like my lava collection.

I LOVE Underdark paint scheme - i would totally switch if this KS had an option to automatically repaint all of my existing caverns ;)

As it stands i am looking to bolster existing rather than create new environments/storage issues

Similarly the new ice is amazing and gorgeous, but for a specialty environment i’ll stick with my translucent walls

As for crystals - seems more like something that should be a bling pack rather than an entirely new set - pretty easy to change the tone of your cavern with a few stand alone clusters

For those who have the $$$s and the storagetogo in for all of this - bless you! Me feel a sense of relief each time an environment comes out that i can pass on ;)

For people getting painted I certainly understand the concerns, and they are valid concerns.

Our memory is the concern was that KSVI paint job would not match KS2 whilst being the same classic theme.

Castles threw up distinct differences while purporting to be the same paint schemes.
The same fears were raised in KSV which I think have been allayed and KSI and KSV are similar enough to satisfy most.

he problem with attempting to have exactly the same paint job 4 years later can be difficult - very similar should be attainable and very likely enough for virtually all backers.

We would be more likely to get Underdoom in the Classic for the same reasons listed above.

My heirs can worry about selling my self-painted pieces. I doubt it will ever be a worry of mine.
Yep :D
