Getting back to the forest banks, where the cavern ones fail is the linear nature of them, hence as much as I like modding and painting, I would not use cavern banks unless absolutely necessary. I would like to see very organic verges to the forest bank tiles. One that could also be used in junction with the regular forest tiles to form river banks with negative water tiles of a less linear fashion. I would like to see the verge one of roots, stones and mud/ plants that if placed around a tree tile on negative terrain would have a circumference that more looked like an amoeba than a square or circle if viewed from above.

Its all good

Fur grows out so all those blue bunnies are soon back to natural colours, unless we got more UltraSmurfs to paint :)

When we read the use of a paper towel we just assumed it was a method of applying the dry drush. Brush it on then rub it off to give a more even look (maybe) did not realise you were talking about how you take paint off the brush - our bad.

We recognise out failings and will endeavour to correct them.

You won’t - all that green, grey and brown makes perfect camouflage. :)

What do you brush/dab the extra paint that's on your brush onto then, your jeans or a shirt, maybe a towel?
How do you do it, a piece of paper? Like a paper towel folded in quarters.

The paper towel is needed for the drybrushing step, though I guess you could skip it.
Not looked at the instructions for painting DF, but never needed a paper towel in our dry brushing,
Well we have but only to clean up any mess ;)

Anyone who cannot paint wood probably should not be boiling water for ramen.

But even wood does require a modest investment in a brush, a bottle or two of paint and a paper towel.
If you use the dip method, you don't even need a brush...
no highlighting then?

Paper Towel ? clumsy ?
