Happy to go with pegs - less hassle for the factory and just as flexible :)
Using standard accessory pegs also makes it easy to decorate the ramparts of your castles with the dismembered corpses of your citizens...
Liking that thinking - perhaps an added accessory of a washer style insert of rotting entrails …….

I agree. Would it kill you to clean out the sewer once every decade or so?! At least hire an Otyugh for the larger debris.

Awesome setups as usual Oldent :)

The spilt ale and childs toy are standouts - nice job.

But back on topic - clearly there are enough bar patrons minis ;)

Would love to see modular minis where they are magnetised at the waist

So you would have two upper stances - fighting and casual
Then a number legs that allow running and sitting etc

You can also mix and match upper and lower halves for variation.

We would steer away from more modularity such as different arms heads etc - while not the worst idea we think these start to become fiddly and easy to lose.

Concur generally with Rabbit.

I wanted my sewer to run under the street.

Image

I built up the base with pink foam.

Image

I made a custom intersection.

Image

Used cavern block for the mine.

Image

Painted sewer.

guards

Image

Break your friends out of jail because low level charterers don't have bond money.

Did you hear something?

"Would love to see modular minis where they are magnetized at the waist"

I do not think that would be desirable in this scale. "fiddly and easy to lose" is very much an understatement.
I have suggested earlier minis split at the waist with standing/seated/riding animal lowers, attached with accessory pegs & holes. I still think it's a great idea. Magnets could be better, but only if they are well secured and strong enough, and care is taken with polarity.
Image

Pegs would work better than magnets. There is a reason that the mutable part figures have been in the bit box for so long.

The factory said no to the magnet polarity issues already. Assembly cost are high enough.I think that small magnets will not be worth the cost.

Image

The issue with using figures in some situations is that they are fiddly. I like the Griffin bar because it is one part. The card players are glued to the chairs the figures in the corner are glue to the bench.

Image

I like the banquette table because it is one part. Note I left room for figures this is a Boss room.

Image

I used the Green Griffin bar and the Banquette table again. I did not leave room to fight. If the players insist they will auto loose and bond out of jail.

Image

Card players again. This is where the payers will stay when they spend the night. Note the windows and the sewer grates.

Image

The town. I use exteriors when the players first enter a location.

Image

The unexplored town. I put the interiors out when it is appropriate to the story.
The point is card players and patrons get a lot of use in my games.

Image

So do Thugs,

Image

women and children,

Image

zombies,

Image

more zombies,

Image

villagers,

Image

angry villagers,

Image

and demagogues.

I would like to see some adventures but I have more than enough.

DF has done good tribal or troop style minis like skeletons, orcs, kobolds, lizard men and such. And they have done them with a variety that sets them apart and makes sense. One glaring hole I think they should fill is goblins and hobgoblins. I would also not be opposed to a gnoll tribe or a zombie horde.

Most mini creators make one or two minis of these type and you cannot get a cohesive group that feels right. To me DF does this well.
