Methinks cataracts and old eyes make this a nonstarter....but thank you. And thanks to Rabbit as well. You reminded me to lock the cats out of the Wargame Factory whilst doing this!

When I go for extreme detail, "000" brushes under a x4 magnification hobby desk lamp. Produces some AMAZING details on minis so for DF terrain its that added "wow" factor when people see it.

or a thin brush and a very steady hand. Yeah its pretty obvious, but sometimes there are no shortcuts and its not as difficult as it looks. Just make sure your brush has a nice pointed tip and is not overloaded with paint

Have another damp brush and tissue on hand to quickly wipe away any unwanted excess.

Recently had to paint into some thin grooves (Necron glyphs) - was not looking forward to it but managed it by quickly wiping away unwanted overflow, sometimes if you spasm when painting, a damp brush to dilute the paint and then wiping away works well, you just need to dry and retry (had to do this a lot!). Cat rubbing against your brush handle don't help either.

This may leave some paint residue, but we found that this enhances glow effects :)

Like all things - practice will make you better.

Toothpicks if you're really careful. Takes forever since you get so little paint but its very precise.

Zenako, I like this.

Now how do I get the fluor paint in the cracks and not visible on the rest of the Golem?

Perhaps look into some "fluorescent paints". Those tend to be very bright and bold in nature and could easily fill in the cracks with a bright hue (and if you end up hitting them with black light might even look stupidly cool!!).

I'd like to paint mine to have reeally bright cracks between the stones - as if the Golen were full of either fire (red) or electricity) blue. Really bright. Anybody have ideas how to do that? I do not want to paint over the emblems it came with.
