Thanks, Vegomatic! I will definitely add that to my list. I was considering it but wasn't sure about its utility. Thanks for the endorsement!

Have you looked at the KS2 Cavern Assortment Pack? That is how they are selling the KS2 stretch goal pack. It looks like it is currently available in the store unpainted.

https://shop.dwarvenforge.com/collectio ... -unpainted

The assortment pack, in addition to a variety of walls and floors, gives you four chasm pieces (ledges), a couple of narrow passages, a couple of 45 degree angle passages, and some free standing walls. I am also fond of the spider web.

I didn't know about DF until KS3. So... when I was back filling my collection, I found a couple of the assortment sets gave me quite a variety of pieces that minimized additional purchases... Your needs will be different since you have KS6 to consider. It will cover some of these items such as free standing walls and ledges (from the trifecta pieces).

Just something else to consider for the variety of additional functional pieces you could have now rather than in a year.

I would appreciate some feedback on my tentative list. I plan to supplement it with one set each of the KS2 Standard Walls and Floors, Varied Walls and Floors, and Cavern Floor Pack. Is there anything else that I'm missing? Anything I would get a lot of use out of or that's just a great showcase without breaking the bank? Everything is unpainted except the forest. Thank you!

Essentials 1-9
Dreadhollow (Encounter)
Crystal Caverns Adventure Pack / Epic Elements / Walls and Corners
Cavern Starter
Cavern Floors
Stone Banks
Forest Banks 2x
Forest Terrain Tray
Ice Catacombs (Adventure Pack)

Hmm, why did you mention stilt packs???? Now I have to .....

That did not sound successful :(

we have not added extra stilt packs because we believe we can use Castle and DoD elevation blocks or other suitable sized pieces.
And right enough...but the stilts and, more, the elevation tripods from Burrows are provocative. I used them for the first time in two different game groups last weekend and my players were nuts over them.

Makes sense. The new stilts are magnetized, so they should work just a tad better with the terrain trays.

On of my final add-ons as the terrain tray hazard pack in 12x12.

5 trays and 10 diferent enviroments is a great deal.
I included the exact terrain tray lot, so 7 total (counting a pack of the forest trays) 12x12. Covering so many different grounds. As a result I threw in ( because they are fairly cheap and magnetic!) one of each of the stilt packs, figuring they will make those trays even more handy.

On of my final add-ons as the terrain tray hazard pack in 12x12. I think it will really up my game for floors and such though it is of course negative space, which I am not totally enthused about. Though with them and two forest trays, I will have a lot of them to play with. Should be interesting.

Wow. Never thought about DwF as photography/display. Yes, you use it differently!
