Still no broken pillars, but one can hope.

I had forgotten about it's appearance in the video.

Here is another pic of it.

The broken large pillars briefly show up in the main KS5 video (see screenshot below). I think they were also teased on the forums? I'm pretty sure KBear is correct that these still haven't made an appearance (yet ;) ).

Hmmm... Sadly, I suspect there will be few to no beans this round 7. If you think about the sculpts from DreadHallow, they don't really lend themselves to, well, let's say, they are not beanable. The caverns added much in the way of new angles, elevations, etc, which was a departure from the previous sculpts. Little pieces of the caverns kept you guessing. Wilderness may include, what, an amazing dirt patch? some long grass? To be honest, although I'm sure the sculpts will end up amazing, I'm having a hard time imagining what they will actually look like.

I agree, but I remember the early KS5 bean of ruin columns that never made it to KS5 or KS6. They may want to make sure they do not do that again.
Yes, that was devastating- But they DID redeem themselves, those broken pillars did in fact make it into KS6. If memory serves, I think all the broken pieces made it in. I bought four sets....

I think we're going to get terrain trays that work well with City Builder. 4"x4", 4"x8", 8"x8", etc.

I'd like some earthen walls and floors with rounded walls and dirt floors that is similar to the Burrows but more for humanoids. A cool swampy entrance like the Cave Mouth Escarpment from DF would be awesome that could lead to the earthen area. Some rickety wooden beams holding up the walls would add a nice touch to the sculpts.
I love these as well! A swampy Cave Mouth (like CD) is a must!

And while we could use the existing wooden CBS wall pillars, it would be great to get new "timber" style (rough cut logs) to go with the wooden and earthen walls we're envisioning here.

Here's what I would put in the Swamps "encounter" / add-ons:
  • New tree uppers (more scraggly, less beautiful)
  • Platform stilts for CBS buildings to stand on
  • Wooden style CBS walls for swamps huts (plus other uses ;) )
  • New CBS roof for huts
  • "Bling" - minis, accessories, LED parts, etc.
Yes yes yes YES! This! 100%. It's like a 3-for-1. You get a new wilderness environment, a new city style option, AND you increase the versatility of the CBS overall, allowing for more rundown, slummy looking areas.
