I'm hoping for an all-in pledge for <$500 painted. If it's supposed to be small scale, I'm hoping they stick to that and leverage existing sculpts where it makes sense and new sculpts/molds when appropriate. I think that's what's happening, but we'll see.
I think their all in pledge is going to be $1800+. :(

Not what I hope, but I what I predict from the DF Gone Wild crew. ;)

And then some folks will still get the unpainted lava tiles to match with their unpainted KS6 tiles. :? :?

I'm hoping for a sort of 'Adventure Pack' of the different 4x4 LED floors, then repaints of the Starter Pledge, Stalagmites, Stone Banks Pack, Natural Bridge, Stairway to Violence, and Trifecta. Then also a passage transition pack from standard to the lava paint theme :)

I feel like that would be versatile enough to cover most of what I'd want to do with this set. Maybe a cave cliff pack thrown in there as well for good measure?

I'd probably expect the "encounter(s)" to be about the ice cavern price point. But a person who wants more flexibility will probably roughly double that with add-ons.

I expect the all-in to be smaller than Underdoom but I could easily see it being larger than the Ice caverns - something closer to $1000 for all-in, with smaller sets being available to meet different needs/desires. I will be curious to what KS6 pieces get the lava makeover - will we see the Stairway to Violence? Natural bridge? Elevation pieces? Trifecta pieces? Lots they could do if they wanted to.

Regarding CBS, what I was referring to with the squareness is the lack of diagonal walls, circular rooms, and hallways. The hallways part really bug me. Scale is really hard, though, I get that. Anyways, I'm derailing this.

How do you all think Hellscape well be broken up? I expect they'll have something small akin to the cavern starter set for the starter pledge, but I'm hoping the whole thing is smaller than the underdoom set

Damn definately talking ourselves into a volcanic gametable!

Well, we were all wondering why they did ice but no lava in KS6, and now (besides KS6 being HUGE already) we know why.

I already own Hellscape and the KS2 lava caverns, so this is an area I already have covered, though I do like these sculpts so far.

It sounded to me from the announcement like they would mostly be leveraging sculpts from KS6 for this one, probably variations of the ice caverns.
