What happens next

We’ve had the pleasure of working with the team at Paizo to create a series of licensed sets for Pathfinder 2nd Edition. The sets – four exciting new Encounters - were specifically designed for the inaugural module The Fall of Plaguestone.

Just got this email from DF about Plaguestone and COVID-19 delay:

Greetings adventurers --

We want to update you about your Fall of Plaguestone pre-order.

PRODUCTION STATUS

As you might suspect, production has been delayed by the coronavirus outbreak.

While our factory is far from Hubei province (which was the center of the outbreak), the government-required shutdowns throughout the country affected most factories -- including ours. They kept our factory closed from mid-January (when it shut for Chinese New Year) until last week. While their reopening is good news, the factory is still working its way back to full capacity.

Bottom line: this looks like a 6-8 week setback (which puts initial shipments in June). We’ll have a much clearer timeline in a few weeks, once the factory gets back to capacity. (Of course, we won’t be billing out any pre-order balances until the product is ready to ship.)

REGULAR UPDATES

Moving forward -- as production gets closer to completion -- we will publish monthly updates until Plaguestone is ready for shipping.

In next month’s update, in addition to a timing update, we should have test shot photos to share with you.

If you have any questions, please e-mail customersupport@dwarvenforge.com

Thanks for your patience!

With AS much prefer to wait than risk workers health.

Coronastone just doesn't have the same ring to it as Plaguestone :)

Part of the reason it's such an issue is because it's a virus and not bacterial.

We hope, last I heard, it's active up to 9 days on a surface.
But then, the ship over from China probably takes longer than that. ;)

Plague is bacterial, so I guess no Corona-virus is included...

It's nice that it was confirmed in the comments thread of the Hellscape KS, but they really need to do some form of Plaguestone communication.
