If anyone ever doubted why some of us here on the forums have a love/hate relationship with the minis DF makes, Cerberus is a great example.

$39 painted, $24 unpainted.

As they just don't make as many minis as they do terrain pieces, they just cost a ton more.

For instance, the Idol of Sysuul light up mini is included in the Shrine of Sysuul Inner Sanctum add-on pack. The store RETAIL (not KS) painted price is $90.00 for the whole pack. That's 16 pieces, including some very large dwarvenite ones. If we eliminate the value of the small bits in that pack, that's still 8 pieces at $11.25 per piece (painted). I'm sure the non-LED pieces cost less than the Idol of Sysuul to manufacture, but still you're looking at maybe $15-20 maximum for Sysuul if you take that into account.

While I love DF minis, I do wish they would find a way to do them cheaper. $40 for a single LED piece is a lot.

And yes, those foam core risers are pretty steep. Sadly a hard pass for me due to the cost.

The prices for the two banks mega packs do not make sense to me. The cavern paint unpainted is cheaper than the lava version, which makes sense, but the painted is 23 bucks or so more. Why is that?

Foam is crazy expensive.

The warhound may well be worth the money. LED sounds interesting, but I wish a prototype existed. I do understand why it does not.

Overall, excellent!!

The Light panels extensions make them more usable and flexible.

In big time for banks, will have to work out if the new mega pack has any impact on our pledge.

Would love to see a still of Cerberus next to a mini - but a light up three headed dog gets our vote :)

It's a bummer we didn't get a chance to play with KS6 banks before needing to lock down our 6.66 banks pledges.
Yeah, this one gnaws on me as well. I really think I will use banks a lot, but I don't know for sure until I can try them out. DF isn't a cheap product, so ensuring you don't over or under buy is a real consideration.
Yeah, I was not surprised by a few upset youtube comments from KS6 backers.

Cerberus is awesome! Also interested in Mega-banks, but need to go back and see how many I'm getting in KS6.

The foam core risers are ridiculously priced, pass.
Black would have been just fine, if they could have priced them like typical foam core boards.

Lastly, Mega-Packs are not what I was asking for.
I'll probably pass on all of those new things. :|
The mini looks cool, but not sure I need a flickering pup.p.p. ;)
