Why so many Shimmerfrond?

Post by koraldon » Tue Sep 01, 2020 4:05 pm

I look at the various forest add-ons and it seems this piece is in three packs:
- The enchanted pool
- Faerie plants
- Faerie Glade

Personally, I think it is a great "one of a kind" highlight piece, but having it in three similar packs just makes me scratch my head.
Frankly, I would love to get both Faerie plants and glade, but paying for two copies of this (I think) relatively expensive piece is a bummer.
Is there any chance of removing it from one of those packs ?

Thanks :)

Yeah and the hedge - a common scatter element - is near impossible to get in a small pack. It is a head scratcher for sure ....

Yeah, I'd also personally rather have more multiples of nettlegores, hedges, and floating log, well before the shimmerathingy.

Projecting roots are also something I'd like to get more of without extra cypress and willow trees or stump lumps.

I agree with this comment a lot. It would be nice to have more hedges than Shimmerfronds. The hedges are a lot more universal and multiple are needed.

I'll also agree with this.

The Enchanted Pool is a beautiful pack, and a great place to tuck the Fae Wellspring. So why do we have to spend more for one of those very specific pieces every time we want a Hole Knoll in the Hole Knoll pack?

Can't we just cut the price of the Hole Knoll pack to like $40 or $50 painted and get rid of the Fae Wellspring from that pack?

I do not mind the Fae Spring in Hole Knoll as i am only getting one, but it does seem a good idea to get rid of the Fae Spring in Hole Knoll as there is a good pack for it already.

Totally agree

I am getting Faerie Glade - so the extra Shimmerfrond kinda prices out Faerie Plants and just seems really unnecessary in Enchanted Pool

I guess it makes the most sense in Faerie Plants - that would make the tree pack a little more cost effective for folks who want lots of trees
