Considering the size of most of the pieces, it's not beyond the pale (for me at least). I'm in for the lot, plus some extras. Lots there to complement my DF.AnimeSensei wrote: ↑Mon Oct 30, 2017 6:03 pmIs that everything? The $400/$590 price tag for that seems kind of high to me.

Photos of the top and Bottom of the whole set.
I think this will complement my resin cavern passages.

Re: FREE YOURSELF FROM THE GRID
Love this! I picked this up from you in the game you ran for us and plan to incorporate it in future games.GODofwar wrote: ↑Mon Oct 30, 2017 1:49 pmThe argument about grid can be easily solved.
Take a round dowel, relatively small diameter, and mark it off with a black felt marker, relatively thin, into 1-square sized lengths.
You don't even need to number them.
When you move, put the dowel over the moving figure on the number of ticks = to figure's move, and move figure to the end of the stick.
Using a grid gives you unequal movement when moving diagonally. The Stik completely eliminates this AND the need for any grid. In addition, the grid allows completely predictable range fire and moves. Using sticks only, players have to guess ranges and moves. Much better.

I love this stuff. Solves many problems. NOT a stand-alone; goes inside caverns or in outdoor scenes. If I can find the $$ I"ll buy some unpainted!
Sthanks for posting.

Re: Terrascapes Caves & Grottos Kickstarter - A nice augment to DF caverns?
Just a guess, but I know that if you try to change the color of resin, you risk the changing the chemical composition of the resin, possibly leading to various other problems. So... maybe it's what worked, so he's not fixing it. This is one of the problems GameZone had with its HQ25 campaign.kodiakbear wrote: ↑Thu Oct 26, 2017 3:05 amWhy would he not do them in resin colors that are the base color and reduce paint steps?

You are welcome.
Thank you kodiakbear for the question:!: I found some new products looking for the link. I never stop learning.
Tips for leopard spot technique
I like to use natural sponges but I do not care if I get pigment on my fingers.
You can use spray bottles for washes.
Black washes make things look greasy. They work better on trains and tanks. Use a darker version of the base coat for wash when painting figures.
