KS6 - Puzzle Teaser Round 2

Post by natetaylor » Mon Feb 12, 2018 6:04 pm

Here's the next batch of puzzle teasers.

Once again, we've taken photos of two different clay sculpts and cut them up into multiple puzzle pieces. But this time, per fan requests, we made these pieces harder.

Below are both puzzle frames and the first two puzzle pieces.

Good luck!

For a second as I was scrolling, I thought the first piece was just that white square!

Boy these look more "dungeonesque" at first glance than cavern like. A conversion piece?

A bit hard to tell anything yet as these are pretty rough. I am assuming one piece per frame. Is the second one dungeons? Kinda looks like it.

Will be interesting.

No disrespect to the great work Kodiakbear did, but i thought i would give it a go this time around. Not sure life will let me stay current, but i'll try

If we make the assumption that Nate is not evil... Then we can count on him to be kind and figure that the first image goes in the first frame and the second image goes in the second frame. I just placed them roughly. While I did rotate the one, I did not resize anything. I will keep them all in layers in photoshop so i can tweak as necessary.

Jazzman, I think you're onto something there. A ruined dungeon wall would send my over the moon. That would be AWESOME in a cavern. I can see an entire break out of underground ruins theme! A city swallowed up by an earthquake, the abandoned portion of the dungeon taken over by darkening creep things...

Bad assumption to make with our hobby of RPGing. ;)

I am happy to let others take the torch so to speak, it seams fitting in this time of the Olympics.

Plus if we think that all squares will be the same size in a given puzzle I can not figure out how to get both pics to fit inside either frames inner border, so I figured the white square was a clue to use the outer border but that only works if you switch the pieces and frames and only works for one of them.

At this point I am a bear in need of more data.

So run with the torch kitenerd.

yeah - i believe part of the trick is that the second image will need to be resized - perhaps the square is a guide? - i didn't want to jump to too many conclusions until i had more data

you are welcome to work parallel to me - perhaps we will come up with entirely different results - twice as many pieces for the next KS!
