I have been wanting to try this stuff. I wounder how well it holds up being handled. Would look great on a miniature. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kI4cTeG-n-E

I’m planning to take a few sacrificial Valorian guardsmen and a bunch of rando Reaper Bones Kickstarter heroes, and give them a paint job similar to this:

Might try hitting some with a hit glue gun first to make wispy tendrils, see if I can make that work. Adding proper horns to something that tiny is probably beyond my skills.
That Jenna knows her onions :)

good shout with the glue gun :)
As for horns that's what a bitz box is for isn't it ?
though it probably depends on your definition of 'proper horns'

I’m probably going to use wraith and ghost miniatures from the 3rd edition D@D booster packs, even though I’m not sure if these bad boys are incorporeal or not. I’m very open to suggestions, though.

I guess that will be in the next DF mini kickstarter then. I have not seen one before.

According to the sample "Dungeon of Doom" module the Maereghast are one of the dungeon’s major threats.

Maereghast Miniatures

Post by Greg-Summoner of Sysuul » Sun Apr 29, 2018 1:37 am

Preparing for DOOM! ... what's everyone's thoughts on the Maereghast? What minis are you planning to use?

Their nightmarish forms manifest claws, barbs, or horns, with skin becoming a translucent purple-blue. A Maereghast’s eyes glow with unholy blue light and their voices now utter little more than terrible wails of pain.
