Thanks all, for the positive feedback.
Once I get the tiles where I want them and can repeat results consistently I’ll throw together a summary.

Those look really good.

I, as well, would be interested in your techniques.

Peace

Wow, congrats! Now to get William to sculpt basalt columns around the water and we will have our very own basalt lake! A man can dream!

Super impressive work, pacarat!! I, too, would be a happy customer indeed, should you ever want to market your work ;)

Thanks.
I see they have the "Cleaner" size barrels... ;)

I could use one of those on the right...

One caution is to make sure one cleans all the SG off (use dish soap and plenty of water) and let dry well. I rushed a repaint of my lava themed pieces and it took a couple years for the scent to finally (almost!) dissipate.

What do you use for paint removal on them too?
I use Super Clean...

https://www.google.com/search?q=super+c ... 9jlEOXRIPM:

I use SG to strip metal and hard resin minis, dwarvenite, and resin terrain.

Plastic stuff is something I am very cautious with, as this stuff will dissolve superglue and some types of epoxy glue.
