I have four people in line now, and was just able to order 3 sets of 50. Hopefully I can get more soon.

I would agree, they (having some myself) remind me of the same stuff they use in big blocks (only white) under floating docks. Time and weather does beat it down, but it's pretty tough against just the water's effects. A fog machine should be fine. ;)

It looks like beaded styrofoam type/style product. If so no.
