Those look good. Playmobil, right?

I picked up a half dozen in a big box of sets/parts at a thrift store.

My GW tree foliage is some where in a bits box. I made them dead trees. I may get some more because William's turned out so well.

I'll still do it 'soon' Veg, just not going to bust my tookus getting it done. ;)

Here are a group of pictures showing the sizes. In the pictures there is the standard size tree with the ropes and also one I modified to be an inch or more taller than most of them. Also ina picture is a double post for CBS walls, just happen to have one on hand. Hope these help realarete. :)

About the weighting of them.
I wanted to make sure my nest tree didn't tip since it's very one sided. Once I felt how nice the heft sat in my hand I decided to just fill them all. Now I'm out of lead sprue material. Who knew, it's a good way to use it up and keep it out of land fills.

Impressive. Very impressive.
I always enjoy a good step by step, if you don't mind.
Thanks!!!
Thanks... :)

Dang, I was hoping no one would ask. But, will do, because they are fun. Just fearful that the Forum has become so finicky with picture posting lately. What's the plan with the new "web site" I've heard about? Is it just the Web Store part only or is it a new Forum too? Since it'll be a year before our trees arrive, I'll get to it "soon". I actually love Nate for giving us a word that has turned into something with no real meaning.
So, don't hold your breath, but it'll eventually get posted here. ;)
Don't do it just for me. If no one else asks that is fine. Love your work! Thanks for sharing!

Fabulous trees William :)

Top top Work, I have a bunch of these and a video on how to paint them for reference, will now add your album to these.

Particularly like how you weighed them down :)

As usual William your painting and detail work look very nice! The bark and trunks make the twisting and gnarled nature really pop. The layering on the leaves really helps the model as well ... to me the leaf-sections of the sculpt loot really flat .... your paint work makes it look much better! I like the models but not a fan of the foliage sections, but if I had some painted to THAT quality maybe I'd change my mind :D Great job!!!

Out of curiosity how tall are those? maybe a picture next to some minis ;)
