And the next session was delayed by the unbeatable beast known as real life ......

In this session the party confronted two of the giants who were on their weekly foraging mission.

One of the warrior giants and the Fire giant Queen arrived while the party hid inteh wodded woodland area and waited for the warrior to leave, thus splitting the giants party....

Once the warrior was gone the fight with the queen was on and it was a long one. She was very high level against the party and they missed and missed and missed, only helped that the queen could not do enough damage to really hurt the party.

But finally she fled outdoors as the party was effectively keeping the portal shut so she had no choice but to go for the aid of her warrior and was able to do so as the party could not bring her down. Outside the party squared off with the new fire giant.

And it was not as long as the fight against the queen but with her waiting with lava bombs it was a bit closer of a fight.

But the fight was successful and then the party was ready to negotiate with the fire giant king

How do you deal with the headache of an entire tribe of lizardmen in the way?

Simple, give them the headaches :lol:

Great update dice :) looked like a lot of sword swinging, magic weilding, dice rolling fun.

And yet another session was had last night (MAn it is almost like we enjoy this or something!!) and this time the party confronted the lizardfolk in their woodlands tangles forest lair.

The party tried to negotiate an entrance, but were not successful even though the party was in the same chapter (not the same page, of course, but at least not in different books) The lizardfolk denied the party entry and the battle was on. The Runepriest forced his way through the doors quickly and started taking a bit of a beating.

But was soon joined by the other two and the fight went very badly for the lizardfolk, who were not really a serious threat.

But their defense was enough for the lizardfolk shaman and the chief to transform the second guardian nature spirit into something tougher. The magma beast rose up just as the first party member arrived at the doors.

But the three did not last long at all. The shaman and chief went down quickly, followed in short order by the magma beast, who could not hit to save his life. A second later, he two was trapped in the Swordmage's green thumb with his companion from the rhino outside. And happy to be there.

And the fight ended with only a single lizardfolk still standing and a carpet of them writhing and moaning on the floor as the party had spared all of them.

The further negotiations went far better this time, as the party had a much better negotiating potition

Looks good, huh?

And they made a plan to deal with the fire giants.

But will it work? Next session in 3 weeks for so.

Why didn't i buy more stairs?

Glorious stairs...

Always fun to follow the story and see the builds... but this time... oh the stairs!

The tower is just curved wall sections from KSI. I never got any towers from castles. I did get a couple tower roof sets though.

Thanks for the comments on the stairway. If you look carefully you can see the two interations of support. One is mostly mountain pieces on end and was very precarious. The second is cavern and castle elevation blocks and was a lot easier and more stable.

I really like the elevated epic curved stairway. That one has gone into my mental book for future encounters.

Oh my..... where to start?

Well first seems like the gate keeper forgot to lock the zoo gates at closing time.

The first picture of the elephants roaming in the distance is very cool especially with the sideboard mountains in the far background.

Very much liked the Elephant confrontation could imagine much hilarity ensued ;)

The tower looks great, we assume its a 4" castle tower, liking your tower entrance a lot :)

To the the teaser pictures:
Rabbit that lava bridge and winding stairway are awesome and the temple of magic at the top is fabulous. Nice use of those incredibly useful foam bricks, mountain and castle pieces - cracking build d4h :)

Is that a Bridge of Valour roof on the gatehouse?
