And the shipping costs to EU are soooo cheap! Watch and learn, DF!
I hav not backed that one, do they really have that low shipping costs to EU?
Did they add VAT (MWST) and customs like DF already or do you have to pay them afterwards? :?:
On the campaign page, they say it's EU friendly - they send the items to a EU hub at their cost (so importing it to EU), then from there to us (so intra-EU shipping, no customs - customs are at arrival in EU from US).
Every campaign that says this, takes care of VAT themselves (that's the definition of EU friendly I think).
This said, I'm not sure they explicitly said "VAT is included" - though imho it is implied by their description.

All of this said, for me shipping has been reasonable. Like 14% of the total (the total weight of items is around 10-15 kg). Considering VAT alone is 22% in my country, I suppose this means that they use part of the total funds collected to cover VAT for countries that have it (from the numbers, that's like 10% of the pledgers). In other words, they use part of their (total) margin to cover these extra costs for EU countries. Or well, this is the only explanation I can think of.

Since they enabled to choose „addon-combos“ instead of regular sets I increased my pledge from 5 to 8 and added all the 20$ addons except for the ladders and the green crystals. But then, I had a half combo left— so I also chose the green crystals and ended up with both colours.

Since I only got the crystal pieces in regular paint in Caverns Deep, I think, those are a nice addition.

No crystals for us, just trees, trees, a well, some rocks, some dead trees, some ladders, bushes and some more dead trees.

I got one crystal set, but I'm not sure how much use it will get. With 10 sets and a couple extras, my shipping to the US was a reasonable $25.

What does everyone think of the crystal nodes sets. Worth getting? I am not so sure as there are so many crystal sets out there, including DF's. I am getting no crystal CD at the moment, though.

My shipping was the same pre and post address confirmation. But then again, they already knew I was in Japan.

I added on a fair amount of extras, but now I'm wishing I'd added on some more tree stands... May have to jump back in!
