Is there a reason why the AHBL pledge level is only offered in Illuminated?
It’s meant to be the ultimate pledge, all inclusive. Enough lights to illuminate all the glowy pieces, nothing else you’d need to buy.

Depends on how much you want to build at once. Encounter 3 as shown uses 7 light boxes, Encounter 2 uses 5, Encounter 1 uses a single.

If you don't ever expect to have the full suite of encounters lit up on your table all at once, You could get 3rd Circle and the 7 pack and be good to go when building Encounters 1 & 2.

I’m wondering how many light panels are actually needed. It seems odd that the 3rd tier illuminate set includes 1, 5, and 7 light box sets. I’m wondering if I can get by with just the mid level light box set.

It all looks very beautiful. I set myself a budget of $1000 AUD for this because am trying to get some city scape stuff, so just went the painted 1 & 2, but may look to grab a fancy piece or two as part of the process.

I am staggered at the coolness - hotness?? Yes hotness  My one request is that adventure / add-on packs be available ala carte for those of us with specific build needs, but I'm sure it will happen :)

I did the painted versions of encounters I and II. Hopefully the add-ons will eventually include the river pieces. I still have to find room for it all, plus the last KS.

Does anyone know if the light panels change colors? Wondering about going with the DF ones going vs going with something like nanoleaf, which can be voice controlled via siri/alexa/etc. and are fully programmable:

(I have some of the triangular ones at work for conventions)
White only. Nanoleafs are WAY more expensive, but if you've got em you could certainly put them to use with Hellscape and I'm sure it would be amazing. Programmable, voice activated effects!
