Large Curved Wall with KS4 Batter Base?

Post by jgt4242 » Sun Mar 10, 2019 9:17 am

Does someone have Large Curved Wall from DoD and some Large Batter Base from KS4?
I'd like to see a picture of those two sets together to see if they fit well.
Thanks in advance to anyone who could do that for me. :D

Let me go see if I can find both pieces... my castle stuff is in complete disarray.

Here you go. Not perfect because batter base assume a 6" tower, while the larger curved wall is an 8" diameter circle. Using one piece problem is fine, you won't be able to use a full circle (and I couldn't find a full circle worth in my pile of tower parts

Looks like you might be able to integrate it into an inside/outside build as a dungeon entrance...

Or, if you wanted a larger than 6" tower, you could use multiple circular rooms, one for each floor laid out next to each other for easy access. This would be the entrance to the tower on the ground floor.

Request - KS4 6" Tower Batter Base(s) Picture

Post by William » Tue Jul 23, 2019 6:05 pm

I have an idea I can't do/show myself, but if anyone with a 6" tower and (3) Batter Base sets could try.

The whole piece was designed in thirds, so the insert is a 30* degree chunk of the 90* corner. Could someone with three batter base sets grab the (12) inserts and surround the tower with just the inserts. I think it's gonna look bitchen. 8-)

Thanks, and you can even take credit, if you do it in a new thread. ;)

I only bought one and was in the process of painting it when I noticed it was 1/3 of the corner.
Unpainted at $47 each + shipping taxes and all, will be over a hundred to test this.

What about half the tower and leave the break hidden behind the back side?

Put the batter base inside the curved wall...that will make an interesting element.

If no one else has managed it then we will see what time and space we have next week.

We have two of them in the Crag build which is still more or less intact - with Junior bunny we enacted a possible plot thread for our story, an attack by a necromancer using two ghost ships. Resulting in much damage, many dead guardsmen, a few skewered and blasted skeletons and a sinking raft.

Was a lot of fun :)
