I have an idea I can't do/show myself, but if anyone with a 6" tower and (3) Batter Base sets could try.

The whole piece was designed in thirds, so the insert is a 30* degree chunk of the 90* corner. Could someone with three batter base sets grab the (12) inserts and surround the tower with just the inserts. I think it's gonna look bitchen. 8-)

Thanks, and you can even take credit, if you do it in a new thread. ;)
Here you go William. A few different mini builds...

Looks really good!

Just wondering: how to enter that tower. The roof-top hatch could be difficult to reach without the ability to fly :D

Thanks K., pretty cool. I see it sitting alone on a small rocky island. 8-)
Now I'm thinking, "How could I use this for some kind of clock or calendar scenario.
Now I need to save a $100 for two more unpainted sets.

Thanks again.

It was just a test to see the BB inserts surrounding the tower. ;)

Looks really cool.

But moreover I was quite surprised to see large round crenellations. :o
I did not know that they exist.
They are not offered in the webstore - or did I overlooked them?

I know. Was just joking 🙃...

I also like the idea to use this as some kind of clock/calendar.

You are right, other than the big castles, the Watchtower might be the cheapest path to getting some.

In a fantasy world with magic, doors can be a somewhat optional feature!! :D At the very least you can drive your players nuts as they keep searching and hunting for the secret door that they KNOW just has to be somewhere. When the occupants just fly to the roof and enter that way, or use some magic portal.

I ma be blind, but after searching all the bigger castles I still did not see any large curved crenellations in the entire web shop. There are of course large round „battlements“, how DF calls them, but these are a totally different beast. I like crenellations much more than battlements, in general, because they are not so huge. And as Niando I was surprised to see those on the pictures.

I just ordered a watchtower, today and also this has no crenellations on the pieces list. Only battlements.

So I strongly support the question: where do I get those large round crenellations???
