Remastered Woodland Set?
Please, DF, please make it happen!

What do you mean remastered?
Same set but all the pieces resized to fit better? I got two newer sets six months ago and they do not fit well at all. I was a little surprised by that actually.

I'm in too.
Was so much disappointed by the pieces that do not fix together well while the details were so great.
It's in a box somewhere, I never use it. So sad.

Re: Remastered Woodland Set?
I guess I'm just not that picky. While I found that there was the occasional gap, I think builds with Woodlands look great, even when mixed with other sets.
Here's one I did last year using woodlands to make a small cottage and hedge maze. I used CBS, Erinthor, and Woodlands for this build.

Re: Remastered Woodland Set?
I believe this was the main reason why this set was discountinued in the past.
Stefan and DF in general knew and openly admitted that the fitting was a bit "uneven" in this set (can't remember who sculpted it, but I remember something along the lines of "paid more attention to the artistic part, a little less to the perfect fitting"). It was discussed multiple times in this forum, and I think also in some live streams.
This was why a reprint wasn't planned.
But people kept asking for it, even with its imperfections, so it was finally recast.
I got 2 and I am happy with them, I knew about the fitting, but it is after all fine (in particular for a woodland setting).
I doubt they will go through the work of resculpting it all as is...
But I would be in for a new, similar set, that could be used as a new "base woodland" set, or use as an addition of the current/old one.

Below is a link to a good discussion from 2013 of some of the issues with the Woodland set.

Re: Remastered Woodland Set?
I would be interested in a remastered or an "inspired by" set, especially if there's a potential for elven style tree-houses to match.
Re: Remastered Woodland Set?
I really do like my two sets, poor fitting or not. They are basically my only DF resin ab\nmd the sculpting is awesome.

I like the Woodland sets too. I think they make nice gardens and mazes for more modern gaming. I bought the first one and was disappointed in the fit, but decided I needed a second set before they become unobtainium. I am happy with the purchase. It would be nice for an resin expansion that would make them less uniform and more sylvan.

I decided the fit didn't matter. This is supposed to be outdoors.
