Those mottled white things could become really awful fungi or similar.

The Chief Least Weasel of Valoria (Pretendant)
Totus KS Delenda Sunt, including the rumored but unlikely KS7
Will be green mossy type stuff once I’m done.

I have Secret Weapon mini bases in floral/jungle themes, that will make some good scatter. Also plan to combine the SWM 20mm, 25mm and 25x50mm bases into larger DH compatible 1x3, 3x3 and 2x6 tiles.

I also need to get my ‘shrooms out and see what they look like on DH. Hopefully they’ll be far out, man... :ugeek:
The 'shrooms will add spots of color. Look great. I*'ve been looking a SW for the mines. Tempting, but they're expensive.....to get any length of track.

Dreadhollow looks great, but unlike most post-buy scenarios, while I love them, I'm only confirmed in my belief that I was right to do 0 Dreadhollow (well, I did two scatter terrain pieces). Just too darn expensive. What a relief....

Payment could be some of those shiny crystal clear 'carrots' that sparkle and scratch glass. ;)

Very nice work p-rat :)
Thanks.

Some alternative shapes and sizes would certainly help.
Or we just send some over to you p-rat and you can mod them for us :)
For a fee of course :)
It would be worth a few carrots ;)
I’ve already had an offer to do just that. But not for carrots... :)

PM me if you’re serious, though.
Hmmmmm you drive a hard bargain. We could stretch to a couple of Turnips and Pumpkin, maybe a Parsnip or two :)

Potatoes?

Thanks for the offer :) will not be looking to do anything with escarpments until we see what is on offer in KS7 then we might be in touch.

Very nice work p-rat :)

quite envious of your ambition and execution.

Oddly we think the tree stump on the escarpments highlights their repetition, and that there is only one way to use them does not help.

We have found with the forest tiles that we do not notice the repetition much. You can rotate them change the trees on them, add details etc.

They also work at disguising the fact you only have one escarpment sculpt, adding scatter helps (obviously). So what you put in front and on top of your escarpments helps.

But nothing would help more than an alternative sculpt. Hoping for 3x3 escarpments and maybe 2x3 where you can have crumbled or gentler sloped escarpments maybe even stepped escarpment sculpts.

Or we just send some over to you p-rat and you can mod them for us :)

This is really great work.

Hopefully more sculpts are coming. I am sure there will be something, but probably only 2-4 new escarpment somethings, so repetition will be a problem again. Always is with DF. Has to be, with the mass production.
Thanks.

Unfortunately (!) there is so much tiny and delicate detail in the DH tiles that it has been a real challenge to try to get anywhere close.

Thanks for the kind words, William. It’s been an interesting, fun, but definitely seat of the pants effort. :)

Yep, that diagonal slash is supposed to be a stream or cut of some sorts. It didn’t photograph well. I plan to put some water effects along it, and then down the front of the escarpment.

I may take a whack at your suggestion on the vines - they are indeed repetitive.
