While with the cost of molds I'm not sure we need all of these, I agree that a couple more pieces for variation on the shoreline would be nice at least. It would be super awesome if we could have a Water Pack 2 and a Cavern Wall Pack 2 with different sculpts in the future. I'd buy some.

I agree, I would like DF to grow the variety of existing Dwarvenite lines with add-ons. It is also great for bringing in supporters of past KS.

some good ideas William!

I could see another water set, eventually. Unfortunately my gaming budget will be severely limited this year:(
Re:The Water Cavern Pack - So Close to being great!
I LOVE the water tiles with a WALL.
I will have to say that the free standing cavern walls and curved walls are probably my FAVORITE item from the KS... and many times they get places along the water short to make it a wall...
Great news is I can keep buying water tiles, sad new is I have to stick with my 5 straight walls and 5 curved walls from the KS stretch goals.
If the Idea of full new tiles with wall pieces is a stretch, consider selling decent size backs of free standing walls so that we can put them onto the water tiles that we currently have....
everyone wins.

Awesome ideas and designs - probably more than will ever see the light of day, but it is good to see the brainstorm happening.
Anyone who has been reading these posts knows my opinion on the water tiles:
* YES - Please a pack of open water tiles
* YES - Please a few different shoreline sculpts to break up the straight edge
Everything else is gravy, but walls rising up out of water are super cool as are stepping stones, partially submerged objects (chest, shipwreck debris or better yet an amorphous shape under the water that could get turn out to be anything), vortexes, docks, boats etc.

I may be in the minority here, but honestly I don't care too much about walls next to my water. I can already do that with my game tiles. Maybe I'm not seeing something...

I think the availability of more free standing cavern walls would remedy the need for wall+water tiles.
Personally, I'd like to see the inclusion of just 2-3 more straight varieties to break up the straight edges we are getting now.
Or, add in some modular pieces that can be placed like stalagmites along the coast to vary the outlines. This would work hand in hand with the open water pack if that ever happens - a few freestanding rocky outcrops that mimic the shoreline details can then be placed anywhere you like.

I agree with AnimeSensei in that water tiles with attached walls aren't that interesting to me. Either freestanding walls, or simply placing a standard wall tile reversed against the water solves that problem already.
I also agree that some variations on the straight shores would be a welcome addition. The water pack as it stands is a great starting point and I've seen some great builds with it. It just needs an addon pack with a bit of variety to break it up.

Nice interest in the ideas, I agree most are not really needed, but just throwing ideas out there. I also realize many of the wall ideas can be done in other ways, for gaming and such.
I have had this giant cavern lake idea with cliff walls and landings above cliffs at different points along the way to the end where a shore finaly awaits. I would love a way to build it without stacking too many bits and pieces for the undoubtable failure and fall at an untimely 'um time. Plus I don't like the look of backward walls to do something a single tile can do. I also really lack open water tiles to do the size of lake I'm thinking of even with 5 water packs. I would love to buy more 'OPEN WATER' and the open water with single corner for a convex corner or 1/4 of island part.
