Post Your Cavern Paint Jobs
Re:Post Your Cavern Paint Jobs
I forgot to say prior to sealing I do a very dry dry brush of cavern dry brush to tie everything together.
Re:Post Your Cavern Paint Jobs
Those look fantastic! I love the yellow tint to some of the stones, and putting water between them is very clever. I'll have to try that!

The puddles in the floor and wall pieces look like a perfect match to the resin sets, Bravo. I will be adding that feature to a lot of mine. I also like the mixture of colors for the "colored" bits throughout. Nice job Kryzsko.

Thank you for the detailed run down!
I think you've convinced me to add the yellow to the paint order I'm about to place. I was going to skip it but now that you mention it, there'l are a lot of yellow tones in the limestone caves I've been in. Or at least they look hat way when lit wig incandescents/firelight.

Very good job!

Fantastic job and thanks for providing the steps. I really like this one for a lighter cavern, and the underdark paint job by Undel. There's a lot of great paint jobs already for inspiration!

I really like the way you added all the extra bits of color and moss in the floors....I might try some of that in my own cavern pieces:) Great Job!

For me, I think this is the way to go. The varying colors of the walls and floors look great and more "right" (natural) to me. Additionally, using some of the lighting tips and modifications shown by KeeblerOrc should make mine "pop" as well. Now, all I need, is for my tiles to arrive to start....

I was asked to re-post the picture. They were lost for some reason.
