Bio, I have a query, not about layout or paint, but furniture. :o

What is that white set of deeper drawers in last picture of first group?
I love it can gold the "over 2" pieces.
It looks like steel, similar to the PlanHold type cabinets, is it metal?
Have any info on brand or manufacturer?

Thanks, you-da-C-man! :)

Nice lighting effects. As to the shiny surfaces, perhaps a dark wash might dull the shine (assuming one wants to actually dull the shine) and keep it dark and foreboding. The typical dry-brush would lighten the whole effect up and remove that foreboding dark theme to a degree.

I must see a Maleficent mini atop that tower!!
Great idea. It looks very foreboding.

Dark, foreboding, red, eerie and cool as hell

Fantastic job biowizard and well stuck at - well worth the effort.

Looking forward to seeing some more builds in the future.

Cool idea! Is it just the lighting, or are the pieces shiny though? Or was that the intent?

That is an interesting take on the paint job. Would like to see an unpainted piece next to it to compare.

I did my cities in a lighter grey but similar. Tudor in the same grey with only dark wood accents.

Great use of the bricks!!!

Very intimidating... and strangely elegant - it is an almost formal castle ;)

Great work... and perseverance !

I did not have the patience to make a full setup showcasing my modular black castle when none was needed (yet) for gaming purposes so I hastily assembled part of one to give a feel as to what a full setup could look like. As I made an LED box (link) that can emit red light and everyone knows that an evil dark castle looks bad ass when surrounded by molten lava, I made sure to assemble on top of my LED box set at FULL red.

Of course, to elevate the setup and create dead space for the moat, I used dice4hire's fantastic black foam blocks (link).
