I went heavy in dread hollow so i was mostly looking for accent/variety. I went light on crystal caverns so picked a couple of crystal sets. Can always use scatter stuff like hills, rocks, etc...

Well, details on my EB War pledge was the following:
6 Verdant Green Forest Sets (3 trunks per)
1 Blossoming Forest Set
1 Autumn Forest Set
1 Twilight Forest Set
1 Foliage Set - Autumn
1 Foliage Set - Verdant
1 Broken Ground Set
1 Bridges and Barricades Set
2 Add-On Combos (both with Pond and bushes)
plus a Well and a couple of extra Tree Stands.

So I have 27 trunks, 24 green tops, 9 Autumn, 3 pink and 3 blue tops. I figure the Blue and Pink are special locations.

I originally did have a couple of desolate forests and multiple green top sets and realized that I would get more "stuff" Trunks, etc. by just going for more green sets instead.

Looking forward to some trees that don't "shed" all over the table as some of my current ones do.

On the campaign page, they say it's EU friendly - they send the items to a EU hub at their cost (so importing it to EU), then from there to us (so intra-EU shipping, no customs - customs are at arrival in EU from US).
Every campaign that says this, takes care of VAT themselves (that's the definition of EU friendly I think).
This said, I'm not sure they explicitly said "VAT is included" - though imho it is implied by their description.

All of this said, for me shipping has been reasonable. Like 14% of the total (the total weight of items is around 10-15 kg). Considering VAT alone is 22% in my country, I suppose this means that they use part of the total funds collected to cover VAT for countries that have it (from the numbers, that's like 10% of the pledgers). In other words, they use part of their (total) margin to cover these extra costs for EU countries. Or well, this is the only explanation I can think of.
Wow, that would be really EU friendly.

I had to pay almost 1k just for shipping, VAT and customs for KS 6  :!: :!:

1x Forsaken Forest....
2x Green Canopies
Curious: Why not swap the forsaken forest and a canopy set for two standard green tree sets? I think you would get all the same parts, plus two of each stretch goal (frog, stump, saw...)
It's an extra $10 for shipping. I'm still deciding on if the extra frogs, stumps, and saws are worth it to me.

And the shipping costs to EU are soooo cheap! Watch and learn, DF!
I hav not backed that one, do they really have that low shipping costs to EU?
Did they add VAT (MWST) and customs like DF already or do you have to pay them afterwards? :?:
