Hare you go, Citadel Woods. ;)

EDIT - And Imgur Pictures.
Nice work! I'm getting close to finishing my set of 3+base. I'll post when done, it's nothing crazy but they do look cool. I just don't think I could bring myself to do another set!

Them’s the puppies :)

No wonder our search for GW trees did not yield that thread ;)

They look cool but they are very labor intensive (at least for me!) if anything like the older 3 tree set. I'm painting a set of those now including the base piece and honestly it's a PIA! I'd seriously consider hiring out a commission if I was to ever want any more.

But between Monster Terrain and the upcoming KS7, plus my current set of Woodland Scenics and Chinese plastic trees I'm almost at, or will be soon Tree Overload! :D
With you there AC :)

We have the original GW trees still sitting in their cellophane clad box. Scheduled to be painted when Dreadhollow hits our table.

We do not intend to paint the bases and use them freestanding as it should be easier to paint quickly, leaves we consider as optional :)

They will need to be weighted, though we are not sure we will go to William's lengths ;)
(Tried to find William’s excellent 'How to add weights to GW trees’ thread)

We may pick up some of the new ones for variety.

Oh, that's much more reasonable. I thought it was 90 for just three trees, not three sets. Thanks UB. :)

If you don't want 3 sets of them you can just get the one set of 3 trees. https://www.games-workshop.com/en-GB/Aw ... dwood-2019
But yea another GW puzzle This kit is supplied in 42 plastic components and builds one Awakened Wyldwood, consisting of three customisable trees.

The time involved is nothing to sneeze at either.
My 6 others took years to complete. O.K. that was a fib.
But really a few weeks of actual time the way I did my weighted bases and all.
At least those older Woods 3-packs are around half the price of these new trees. I will say these look taller, but not that much bigger (2x ?).
I finished mine in a few months earlier this year, but I really enjoyed painting them and thought they took the detail well enough to make my sloppy painting skills look better than they really are :D

The only thing I dont like is that the leaves on my old GW trees do NOT stay on, no matter how fancy I've tried to get with positioning for more points to glue to branches.

I am likely to pick up a pack of these just for varieties sake, but will probably wait until I have dreadhollow delivered and maybe even until I see whats on offer for KS7 since realistically, wildlands may deliver by the time I get around to another big batch of painting.

And Oldent's right about GW not being cheap, but what's the old saying? Something about throwing stones in dwarvenite houses? ;)
