I agree that they will have KS6 delivered before KS7 launches. DF has credibility, but not delivering on KS6 -and- KS6.66 before launching a new kickstarter may start to affect even the stalwarts and how they back. I think most of us that have backed DF before would be ok with one delivery in the works while a new KS launches (though some of us aren't that forgiving), but having two out there is a little egregious.

there has been a pattern of “DF realizes its projections were overly optimistic - DF makes more conservative projection for next set - DF also makes next set much more complicated - DF’s adjusted projections are still inaccurate.”
Yes, if DF ever said in their KS was going to deliver in two years I would have to take medication before even looking at what was being made. ;)

And it's not just a matter of trust and credibility.

For example, in KS6 I got like 4 packs of banks, plus a couple of the Dreadhollow ones, thinking that I will like them.
KS6.66 comes out, with the new big banks. How many should I get? Should I get ANY?
If I had the previous banks in hand, I could think that they are superb, and go heavy on the new ones. If not, I might take a couple just to have the variation, but right now I don't even know how much I will like the previous ones...
I mean, 4 of the new banks sets would be like 286$ for me (EU); I'm not discussing the price, but that's not pocket money for me, so without having the older ones in hand, I will surely keep to the low end.

And I think for many this would be the reasoning with Dreadhollow and its potential expansions...

People get awfully serious over a product that is supposed to bring joy! :D

Remember nothing is do or die in this KS business. You'll be able to get what you want at retail if you realize you want more of something. In fact, I often use that as a strategy. Buy what I know I want in the KS and wait for retail for things I *might* want or just can't justify in the KS pledge. There's a lot of hand-wringing about retail availability, but I missed the first FIVE Kickstarters and still managed to get everything I wanted at retail, and I bought a LOT. I have never had a piece of Dwarvenite from previous sets I was not able to get, if I just relaxed and waited a month or two for a restock.

And if you buy something and realize it's a dud piece for you, there's always eBay or trading on this forum.

I am patient, i will get my stuff when it shows up

but...

I was kind of POed to get a KS update that said "We are up for an ENnie - vote for us" that contained NOTHING about the KS...

How hard is it to show a picture of a warehouse full of boxes? Or even a stock photo of a shipping container that is captioned "We here at DF are on the same boat as you.... waiting impatiently for our Caverns Deep!"

The radio silence is a bit frustrating. Anything would be nice at this point.

Wasn‘t that an update on DoD? I think it would have made no sense to give a CD update in a DoD update.

I am sure there will be a July-update for CD. Let‘s be patient :)

Most of what I want is in wave two :(
It would be nice to receive KSVI 1 6 before I complete my pledge for 666. The update for this month is not due yet.
Everyone else and their brother is late too :x It is frustrating :!: I guess I will paint something ;)

This does not always work for DF stuff. There is no guarantee that the stuff from the KS will hit the store and if it does sometimes it sells out as soon as it does. Then you will need to wait for a restock when and if it happens again. This is why I get almost everything I think I will need/want in the KS.
