I'm currently in for a core set and will likely add to it prior to the PM closing. I like having a wide variety of sculpts, but yes, when you get past a certain point it becomes hard to find anything so they sit unused. :(

I wish more of their unique sculpts were different versions of things I'd use as opposed to a one-off. I don't like the shark raft this time around, for instance. I loved the ghost people that came with the ship from Bones 4 because I can use them in so many things. Same for the townsfolk this time around. They may not be that inspired, but they do the job.

I will likely end up around $200 - $250, but not entirely sure. I do like that the PM stays open for so long as I can slowly add to it. This is especially helpful right now as I have some gift certificate money to spend here at DF that will get spent (along with some extra money) once Caverns Deep hits the webstore. :D

I do know that in the first few Reaper KS I grabbed the core set without question, but have since come to realize that while that bundle is a great price for that number of minis. It really does not matter if too many of those minis never get used or painted. I think I have one or more Vampire bundle core sets from their KS1 still not opened and definitely not painted yet. One of my bigger recent piles from those KS were bundles of the floor tiles they offered as an add-on. Those tiles match DF pretty well and give me some nice floor decor or outdoor tile options for a small area. Those double-sided tiles were among the first ones I painted up from that KS.

However, they end up offering so many things that it is not too hard to still find a lot of new/novel sculpts or designs that trigger the buy/back impulse each time. Kind of the same formula that DF has gone a long way in mastering, just at a bit higher price point.

After I threw away over half of my Bones KS1 core set, I have just not pledged much in each Bones KS but with the Greek Odyssey and Dark Depths in this KS my interest is raised.

300 does seem a good total for Reaper.

Not sure of the final list yet (the Reaper PM stays open forever it seems) but likely getting the Ship and all the Brinewind sets and extras (perhaps two of the extra pack with the wagons). The Troll Bridge. A bunch of the Seige Weapons (a few of each). Maybe some paint bundles, but not sure I need more paint at this time. Thinking hard about some of the encounters, like the Shadows of Ravenhome to be used as scatter terrain more than an encounter. By the time that is all added up it comes to a bit over 300, which is about my typically Reaper damage.

And here I am with only a few measly boats like a chump!

I went pretty hard on the Bones V pledge manager, then looked through my box full of Bones 4 that I have yet to even assemble and re-assessed...

I'm definitely gonna come under $100 on this one, possibly under $50.

* Shadows of Ravenhome
* Brinewind Extras
* Loot Golem
* MAYBE Dark Depths...
