Yes, trifecta pieces double as banks/gradual elevation by themselves, and flipped over they connect to the walls (so the walls have a little wider base to keep them more stable). The dead side of those pieces is the narrow straight flat edge that butts up against another floor piece.
I am really hoping to use all the different options from KS6 to enhance my elevation builds

Yes, that's it. Where did you find it?
Its on the campaign page, if you scroll down the graphic for it is roughly opposite the "Deluxe caverns Deep/unpainted" pledge option.

There is a nice graphic on this page from Caverns Deep: (last one I think... it is green).

There was a really good animated graphic that illustrated using the pieces... but I cannot find it on either campaign page. It showed a wall on a terrain tray built with trifecta pieces, then the pieces moved around (including flipping the ledges) and make a corridor on the terrain tray with walls on one side and banks on the other... there minis moving around and stuff... but I don't see it anywhere right now...

Idea is cool, but probable can be done keeping the ground tile the same side up instead of flipping over, because Df doesnt seem to want to do double sided floor tiles.

Such a waste...no idea why they didnt make all floor tiles doubled sided with a different theme .
But aren't all trifecta floors double sided already just like KS5 ledges?

Sculpt ideas for KS7 wildlands or future KSs

Post by kodiakbear » Sun Sep 08, 2019 3:24 am

I as I was reading the KS7 survey topic/wish list, I had an idea for a sculpt and thought a brainstorming topic might be interesting.

In KS6 the addition of Trifecta peices increased versatility. So could you use the nature of Trifecta peices in a outdoor piece?

The idea is a ground tile and a bank tile (mountain tile 45 degree slope one side) but if you turned the ground tile over it would hook up with the upper back side of the bank tile. The height would allow you to put stilts underneath for cheap elevation.

Or the Bank tile could be 45 degree on both sides and would have two ground tiles that could work on the bottom or either or both could be flipped over to work at the opposite top. With this one also stilts could be used underneath.
