Sounds to me like you need to start a gaming group, William. Find a comfy chair for your back and have some fun. :)
But, then I would have to finish all this painting.
I think what I need is my very own Erin or someone who loves painting that much.
Two things:

Our best motivation for painting is knowing I am going to use them in a game on a given date, so c'mon dust off theose brushes and get to it! once of course you find a really comfy chair.

Erin is busy painting our Dreadforest so paws off! comprende?

I'm planning on purchasing 3 more water sets before I get to painting all of them. I'm shooting for +/- a third of my tiles modified. I would modify less if I only had Dwarvenite,
Do you have them painted yet? I would *love* to see the final product.
Nope. :| :? Me too. :P  What a way to make me feel guilty. ;)
I'm kind-of more of an idea-guy. Once I know "it's" feasible, I move on.
Someday I'll get around to it, but I don't have any up-coming games to force the finalization of them, nor will I.
Remember, this is just a distraction for me. :ugeek:

I use PJ, it just works much better than water. You don't need much, I usually just put a small dab on the back of my hand between thumb and forefinger. I then rub the metal tool periodically in the PJ. After the piece dries you can use a little alcohol to get it off. Not the good stuff, that's for later ;)
also if you are putting more greenstuff over a spot where you used PJ, make sure you have a little PJ on your fingers to mix in with the greenstuff while you are mixing it, it will adhere better. Found all this out lurking on the reaper sculpting forum over the years.

By the way, I just moded one of those silly roof platforms from city builder into a window. that was a great idea.

WELCOME to the Forum. Thanks for the tip. :)
I just found another tip recently about using petroleum jelly to help in sculpting, but the were doing small bits to add to a mini and had to use super glue to adhere the piece. Any tips other than water to help keep tools from sticking? I don't know how you could remove petroleum jelly prior to the G.S. drying. I guess you let it dry then wash off the (p. j.). Do you use it and what about painting after it (p. j.) has been on the sculpt.
