I'm tempted to steal a whole lot of the free pencils from an IKEA store and try making a scratch built tile or three.

That's actually a terrific idea.
I'd order them online, just to get some more choices in size.

Favorite Pieces: Chasms, 45 Degree Passages, River & Lava Banks, Ledges, Large Curved Walls, Elevation Arch

Just a note to say I would love a set of the Columns, as I bet a lot of people would. Put me down as a pre-sale to whoever ends up making them. I remember when the original discussion was happening and wishing I could get some back then.

Basalt Column caves look very cool also, though less extensive than limestone ones in this world.

Wouldn't basalt columns be more properly part of a KS2 expansion? Not saying that they can't do it now, but I don't see it expanding a "dungeon of doom" environment per se.
What do you mean "properly"? Why does it have to be all this or that for a KS?
It really doesn't and shouldn't. We had some (limited) but some KS III stuff in KS IV. More streets, advanced Builder etc.

William I love your basalt columns and while I am sorry the deal with jgardner44 caused stress, I really hope that they can be made in Dwarvenite because they would be a fantastic Add-on both for Dwarvenite caverns and mountains.
Stefan basalt columns would rock in
KS6 Forces of Nature.
Make it happen! Elven tree village and Basalt columns.

William, look at forming an appropriate corporation in your wife's name...depending on the type of disability that may attribute to your claimable income for disability...and depending on corporate type, you may be able to pay out to your wife as a salary and attribute no income to yourself. Check with a local attorney AND an accountant. This sounds like its doable cheaply too.

Thanks LW/Gow, I'll look into this if things pan out.

William, maybe you and I can pick up a discussion offline because I'd love to take your basalt columns and develop them into a product.
