I look forward to getting an obnoxiously oversized dragon when Joan of Arc arrives this Christmas:

Wingspan is reported to be about 50cm/~20” (!).
Beautiful. The Joan of Arc KS has got to be my favorite yet. Unfortunately, I missed it, so now I can't get my hands on all those beautiful KS exclusive sculpts. That's what I don't like about those kinds of Kickstarters: if you miss it, you basically can't get those sculpts unless you want to pay an absurd amount on eBay after release or something. :(

I hope everyone else enjoys them, though. Gog, Magog, and Mehmed II look to be the most fantastic of them all!
Zie ginds komt de stoomboot
Uit Spanje weer aan.
Hij brengt ons Sint Nikolaas,
Ik zie hem al staan.
Hoe huppelt zijn paardje
Het dek op en neer!
Hoe waaiend de wimpels
Al heen en al weer!

They made the right choice going 15mm on the human minis, it really makes the dragon even more huge.

They may not be able to. They have problems with some of the large bones dragon legs and wings. Metal is even worse.
What are you talking about? I own some of the largest bones figures, they have no issues at all. In fact, large figures are what bones does best. Maaldrakar is far bigger than those giants.
They had some legit issues with a few large models in Bones 1 & 2 - the super skinny serpentine dragon in particular they resorted to shipping him with a metal tree to perch on for support.

Reaper has since learned how to tweak models to avoid things like this, and started to experiment with slightly different Bonesium formulas for some figures.

But yeah, Ma’al in particular would NEVER work in resin or spincast metal. Geez, it’d probably weigh 30 pounds. (Still regret not buying that one.)

Still, Cuthulu is nothing like those giants upthread, and it makes me wonder what the upper limits for bones are.
How? He has roughly the same shape, and I don't see how creating the Cthulhu mini is much different than a normal giant of that size.
I agree, as long as they make the legs fairly thick and the bulk of the wt over the figure's cernter of gravity it should work fine.
