Picked up a couple of sets. The White was pretty much white, but the Yellow set looked a lot like the Pumpkins some of the figures were holding!!! I guess it was somewhere in the right quadrant of the color wheel, but a bit off. No matter, those folks just have a more orange look on life.

I also like them but have not found them cost-effectively yet.

Coolstuffinc has them for $17.99 however shipping isn't free unless you spend over $100.00.

Been waiting on a sale or price drop or special deal to grab some townsfolk, especially prepainted ones. So I have had some of these lurking in my amazon cart for a while now.

I finally found one with free shipping for sub twenty USD and pulled the trigger with my Amazon funny money. I only grabbed one set for now. I may order another color later if I like them well enough once I've had hands on them.

I own all six color variations, and I'd say that white, blue, and then maybe yellow are the most useful without being re-touched somehow. But red, green, and purple would need work to look "reasonable" on the gaming table. Although the bases are black for each color unlike the promo images, which helps.

I would add that the minis come with cards used for the Agricola game. I don't play the game, so I sold the cards on eBay for about $5 plus shipping per set. That brings down the cost per mini, if you want to be bothered.

I agree; the "white" set of Agricola minis (which you pictured) looks very nice.

I bought both those ant the "green" set. I do NOT recommend the paint job on the green set. The color is even more intense and jarring in person than it is in this promo image:

I'm hoping a wash and maybe a bit of drybrush will make the green ones look good, but I haven't gotten around to trying it.
