also, sometimes all it takes is a little pressure on the bottom of the tile. I had one that wouldn't light up and it was because the base's cap on the bottom was a touch warped from heat so it bowed out and didn't give great contact to push the battery into the terminal. All it took was a little pressure and tightening the screw a titch. worked great after that.

I have also found that it is possible to accidentally insert the LED wire posts in the space between the socket and the edge of the wall. Pull out your LED, make sure the contacts are clean and not coated with some overflow dwarvenite, and carefully insert the LED again.

Open the bottom and wiggle the battery; maybe the connections are painted over or something?

Also did the tab come all the way out. I only say this because I had one tab break/rip on me and the light would not come on until I opened it up and removed the last part of the tab.

You can also try turning the led 180 degrees (assuming you did move the switch as stated above).

I don’t mean to sound facetious, but have you flicked the switch to turn it on?

I finally pulled a tab off a Terrain Tile with the LED sockets and plugged in the torches and a couple others, but no illumination? Is something wrong? Has the battery died so quickly before I even could try it? I've never even tried the illumination yet so I was disappointed when I finally did and nothing worked. I tried a couple different inserts along with a couple different walls, but still nothing? Thoughts, and have you had any similar experiences or are mine cursed?
