I believe several posters mentioned some intriguing builds in this thread, any pics out there yet?

I put the magnets suggested on my five elevation boxes. I think it works much better and only had one polarity backwards.

I do have 2 Erinthor Mountain sets, but I game at a friends house, and I had to draw the line somewhere at hauling all those pieces and building the set. But I am going to start experimenting with integrating mountain pieces.

On the plus side once I pulled the towers off, the remainder of the Royal Stronghold on all 4 elevations boxes fit nicely on a 2x2 board, and we were able to store the castle for next weeks continuing game (although it requires a two-man lift to lift all that dwarvenite at one time).

Here it is. I had to put a few elevation blocks in the corners for the towers. Otherwise it fits!
Very nice, cracking way to get a deep moat :)

Do you have any mountains? a few along the edges of the tray would give an excellent natural rocky feel.

Just used my four elevation boxes to prop up a Royal Stronghold. It ....almost...fits. I had to use some elevation blocks to help prop up the four large corner towers. I’ll take pictures later.

I was looking for a way to have the drawbridge go over something ...dangerous. So I thought hey! Let’s see if the boxes can be used to gain some height and help create a chasm or moat or something,,,
Very interested in this. Please do post pics when you get a chance.

I got three elevation boxes and I love them. they were not warped at all.

they store all the little bits - or even dozens of walls on their side (“chevron” style)

the only tiny issue was one of the magnets was unglued. two seconds with superglue fixed that.

they work amazingly to raise the dungeon and I love the versatility of the dais lid as a floor.

I know I could find a use for that many boxes. Even this weekend I have players dealing with a box canyon full of orcs and some fortifications. I did use my 4 boxes at the head of the canyon, but could have used more to line the sides and give it more 3-D'ness along the way. I do have some packing materials I use for some spots. Probably should think about 50 to 100 of those famous foam blocks sometime....
