THanks for all your help. I am located in Canada! I am currently working on painting the caverns which is a huge set and I am hoping I may find someone to trade afterwards.

OPen water pack x 2 Unpainted
Cavern floor pack Unpainted
Stalagmite pack Unpainted
Wicked Cavern pack Unpainted
Chasm pack Unpainted

Equivalent-ish of 2 Game Tiles set (dungeons discontinued) Unpainted
grand stairs pack Unpainted
street starter set Unpainted
wicked streets add on pack Unpainted
monster sewer set Unpainted
Basic Cavern Set + Cavern set hand PAINTED
2 Game Tiles set hand PAINTED

and also the RESIN tiles and all the non dwarven forge stuff from Legendary Realms, Thomarillion, Amber's Secret Cove in pictures

Glad to see you here! (I'm who you have been chatting with on FB for the past week or so :D )

The best way to trade in my opinion would be to find out what sets you have and then list them here so people know exactly what you are wanting to trade. Or alternatively, do a list of exactly what you want to trade so again it's not just a big lot of pieces, but "X number of straight walls with floors," "X number of cavern floors," etc.

Best of luck!!!

Couple of things to keep in mind. You probably should indicate at some point where you are (like country/state at least) since that would impact shipping costs, potentially a lot. It appears that almost all of the collections you acquired are unpainted which will also affect who is really interested in them to a potentially significant degree. While it is not that hard to paint terrain, it still looks better with a decent paint job on those tiles. Are you looking for painted or unpainted on your end of the equation as well? There are a number of nice kits in those photos, and until very recently many of them were not available at all in the DF shop.

Just a caution about Ebay pricing, those values are often based on scarcity and time value. Something like the Fantasy floors would most likely have a large premium on Ebay, at least until the past couple of days when DF restocked them. So also keep in mind the base cost on DF when comparing values in any trade or sale you anticipate. Good luck.

I was thinking of this thread:

viewtopic.php?f=53&t=8551

but many people post with extras or collections for sale

I'm surprised you haven't been inundated with offers - i guess the restock and the PM are holding everyones money hostage

Welcome simontetreault!

Looks like quite a horde - the ravenous folks around here will always help ;)

There is a buy sell trade forum (mostly people WANT on that forum)

Ebay "completed auctions" should give you a fair idea on valuations

Lots of the little stuff will be a matter of finding the source (most of that is non DF)

New to Dwarven Forge. Got a lot of stuff. Need help

Post by simontetreault » Thu Oct 11, 2018 12:34 pm

So I am new to Dwarven Forge. I purchased a few collections in the past few weeks to get started. I'd like to trade some of the stuff I got for 'outside' settings of dwarven forge like roads, buildings and especially a stronghold/castle

I would love a bit of info on where I can post a add to do a trade? Maybe help with some of the value of these older sets, etc. Thanks for you rhelp!
