Re: Mini Kickstarter - Discussion, wants, suggestions, etc

I would still also like to see another overlooked genre: corpses. Some slain (or just uncounscious) adventurers, as well as bodies of villagers have many, many uses that come up often. I’d also like to see some bodies that have died in unusual fashion as well...crushed to a pulp, burned beyond recog...

Re: D&D Icons of the Realms ship

I wonder how long it will take for us to see massive 3d printable mods for this ship? Somebody could start with printed decks to replace the cardboard pieces, that should be simple.

Happy to go with pegs - less hassle for the factory and just as flexible :)
Using standard accessory pegs also makes it easy to decorate the ramparts of your castles with the dismembered corpses of your citizens...

Re: How do you recreate a dungeon from a map?

I find when reproducing maps in DF, that some alteration and accommodation is usually required. The players will never know the difference. It's not like they will see the revealed terrain and say "That's a 90° turn, and it's supposed to be 45°...this map is totally invalidated! :D No need to be in ...

Re: Mini Kickstarter - Discussion, wants, suggestions, etc

"Would love to see modular minis where they are magnetized at the waist" I do not think that would be desirable in this scale. "fiddly and easy to lose" is very much an understatement. I have suggested earlier minis split at the waist with standing/seated/riding animal lowers, attached with accesso...

Re: Tenfold dungeon kickstart

To cut a long list of arguments that attempt to offer alternatives to your reasoning MrM, which we think are valid, we have decided to say the following: In this Forum most of what you say is valid :) But this is a Kickstarter where 443 backers say different and show there is clearly a market. More...

Re: Tenfold dungeon kickstart

Yes but you also have to have a 3D printer which many of us don't. Then you have to paint the terrain. I consider the second point kind of valid, you do have to paint it *if* you care about painted terrain. But that's true of any 3d terrain at the lower end of the pricing scale. The terrain in this...

Re: Some Painted Minis

Thanks for the advice MrM - definitely helped us - even if we still prefer a quick dirty wash ;) but only on terrain or our scummy Death Guard Washes work great on terrain! In fact, I'm revisiting washes, since I've been following Kenny Boucher. That Lizard I just posted has a wash over the whole t...
