Re: Loot Studios - Crimson Sand Arena
Very cool looking. Any shots of what the backsides of the viewing platform looks like? Not a fan of printing things myself but I do understand the appeal lots of folks find in the method. If those curved stairs up to the platform had a way to niche hold minis on the way up that would be a cool mod ...

Loot Studios - Crimson Sand Arena
So I had a lot of fun printing and painting this one, and thought I would share. Loot studios produces excellent quality stl files, and well how could I pass up my chance at entertaining myself spending time at the arena? :D One.jpg Two.jpg Three.jpg four.jpg five.jpg six.jpg seven.jpg eight.jpg

Re: Moonlit Arch
I did not get a Moonlit Arch, but did get a Threshold of Worlds. I wanted the MA more, but alas not to be.

I will say that TableTop World seems to meet or beat their estimates for delivery. Granted a smaller backer base, but still, I consider that to be very good, and gives confidence when backing one of their projects that you will get the goods. Even with international shipping times as well. Yep. I j...

Re: Chasing waterfalls
I have thought about getting an Airbrush at times, especially as I was painting/base coating my 30th tile of the same type. Just never pulled that trigger. I have the time and space these days to take as long as I need to. Do you use thinned DF paints for the airbrush? Yes, around a 2 to 2.5 to 1 r...

Re: Chasing waterfalls
Nice, I just had concerns about making a paint job I would like compared to the factory so all my waterfalls were ordered factory painted, while I had most of my order unpainted. Working on the last batch of unpainted now - the ruins. Those waterfalls look very nice. Thanks! Painting clear plastic ...

Re: Question about scaffolding and sculpted streets
I think they’ve done a decent job with it. You also need to consider the functionality of being able to use the set, not just the form. For pre-built slopes, how long is the slope before you put platforms for minis? What angle can you set it at without chasing a slope a foot to rise x distance? You ...

Re: Did Lowtown have a rockstar piece?
I don’t think it needed one because it has so many different and useful pieces with building methods that did not exist prior to it. So fundamentally I don’t agree that systems ‘don’t count’. Imo this KS was a rockstar. I find this conversation interesting because it is very similar to an interview ...
