Re: The future of terrain and DF

I have heard the ender 5 has a few upgrades over the 3, also maybe that's it. I don't print minis, only terrain, and supports are rarely required for that. By flawless I don't mean that every print works, more that it's always clear what the issue is and the fix is usually one or two clicks to chang...

Re: The future of terrain and DF

They are not yet published but shall be soon and heared rumors that fatdragon is doing a new Kickstarte...

Re: The future of terrain and DF

I bought an Ender 5 a few months ago and it's been flawless. I was nervous about getting into 3d printing after reading about the supposed difficulty, but I've had more problems with my paper printer than this one. 1) find something i like on thingiverse 2) download and open the file 3) click slice ...

Re: It’s late July! It’s late July!

I requested everything in one shipment, and it seems people who did this were moved to the back of the line even if all their stuff is actually at the warehouse? Based on the latest update, it sounds like it'll be several weeks yet before I receive anything.

Re: Re: Kickstarter Tote/T-shirt

Come to think of it, a gibbering mouther button-up would be even better.

Or maybe we can get some of those weird plants from the pathfinder pre-order on a Hawaiian shirt.

Re: Kickstarter Tote/T-shirt

If they do decide to go with t-shirts, I want gibbering mouthers over the whole thing. Or anything with that KS6 mimic.

Re: Some KSVI Painting

Did you wash your pieces in soapy water first? That might help. Oh, on the doors I did fix the red on the one side. I found that the Regal Red does not stick to dwarvenite well as a base coat. It pools really badly. I used the Silver on Reaper Bones and it stuck well, but the Gorgon Bronze did not. ...

Re: Mild case of Insanity

I basecoated my dwarvenite, for consistency. It is very time consuming without an airbrush, but DF is not known for maintaining consistent base colors between kickstarters. I am not sure it's worth it. With an airbrush, probably. Without it, I think it's too much extra work for me to worry about. On...

Re: Cave Cliffs and Erinthor Mountains

I think they go together quite well. I might pick up some unpainted Erinthor and paint them to match the KS6 pieces. In the photos the color of the cliffs looks pretty good, and I wouldn't mind painting up my erinthor sets in a matching scheme. I still haven't received my KS6 order. Looks like the ...
