Re: Wendy's Releases TTRPG - Feast of Legends

To play devils advocate, a Wendy's ad campaign may be a vehicle for some kids to actually get to play RPGs verses just watching them or knowing about them from watching Stranger Things.

Re: Wendy's Releases TTRPG - Feast of Legends

I want to hate this. I think the rpg renaissance may have just jumped the shark. On the flip-side a whole lot of fantasy artwork was commissioned and folks got paid to draw, game designers got paid to do what they love... there are a ton of rpgs out there, many of them are forgettable - whats one m...

Re: ROW shipping

I think shipping unpainted first is an excellent idea. Me too. ;) As a buyer of mostly unpainted I would love it if unpainted did not get held till the painting is done, and have wished and asked for it over the last few years. I use to think perhaps it was all held because bagging and boxing was h...

KBear - Yes! Way more excited for the upcoming Greek+ minis than the humanimals. :p I know many people were/are excited for the Daimyo Expansion but for me it was just a waiting game to get past it to see if the Ancient Greek minis were next. https://ksr-ugc.imgix.net/assets/026/730/102/3bf5e98d5a5...

Re: Bones V

I just wish they had less terrain being part of those sculpts. It makes them harder to use in encounters vs set pieces. Having a hydra that brings along a small mountain of stone with it when it moves just looks wrong. I don't understand why they have that diorama style with so many of the larger s...

Re: Did Caverns Deep really have the basic needs?

I remember (not all that long ago) when I could go to the hardware store and if I only needed 5 screws I would walk out the door with 5 screws in my pocket. You were not forced to buy (2) 4 packs with too much packaging My town hardware store is likely going to move away from selling individual scr...

Re: Bones V

And I have no clue what the Catoblepas shall be. Is this iconic and I just missed it? The Catoblepas was in the original AD&D Monster Manual and the 2nd edition AD&D Monstrous Compendium and has legends from the ancient world and medieval times via ancient Greece but originally Ethiopian. But later...

IMO the towns folks people are the most uninspired sculpts I have seen for a long time...
Yes they are, but do not worry Reaper has given us the below minis which look to me like a madam and her three cosplaying ladies of the night. ;)
