While I have maxed out my ability to spend, I too hope we find new folks to join in and hit the next goal.

Others will have to answer for the older products vs. now. All I can say is a new owner (addict) is that you will never find another way to get into DF at this low price per piece. Buy into it if you can afford to.

I am open to anything at this point because I am a newbie and own nothing yet. I figure I bought the core sets with my pledge and anything Stefan sends me for free is just bonus.

I do admit I would love to see a picture more out of curiosity than anything else.

As someone who has bought into the Dwarven Forge line because of the Kickstarter (5 sets plus add-ons) I can only say: I am glad they elected to try a Kickstarter. I can say for sure I am going to own Dwarven Forge products because of the Kickstarter.
