Re: Some pics from a recent game
My only complaint about RPGTools is the quality of his 3D printer isn't the best; you can see the print lines. This is typically my issue, as well. I recently bought a 3D printer despite this because I'm planning on combining the printing with traditional sculpting in my LED pieces. I have three id...

Simple fix to tighten up wall/post fit
Sometimes I experienced gaps between the walls and posts of my first builds. For some builders this doesn't matter, but for others it may be a big deal. I found that by making cottage sized buildings and placing a couple rubber bands around them for 2-3 days tightens the fit. I imagine you could do ...

Re: City builder additions
Thanks Biowizard. And those roofs are very, very nice. Far more artistic than I would attempt. As far as the glass goes, I actually printed those as well with translucent filament. I was thinking of just using different color transparency films, if such a thing still exists. The main reason I printe...

Re: When will City Builder be available on the website?
Hi DF Suzy,
There's something I think many of us would like to know, will the grab bag minis be available?

Re: City builder additions
Relating to the use of 3D printing, generally I agree with what you say. I have used it or plan to use it in all the ways you suggest. Personally, I love to experiment. I print something just to see the result and then I'll play around with it to see what I can get away with. I understand the desire...

Re: City builder additions
By the way, I've made a lot of roofs using the dungeon tiles for sizing. There a little off from the city builder size, but that's something I can work on. Most are unpainted, but that's fine with me, I have a place in my fantasy world known for it's painted towers, so bright colors work for that. A...

Re: City builder additions
Well, I made them as three piece inserts, basically it's a window pane between two frames. The wall and therefore the windows are roughly 10mm thick. For a single large pane window, I put a 0.8mm pane between two 4.5mm frames, which centers the "glass." However, I prefer the four pane look...

I have more pics, but I thought it was better to spread them into multiple posts. City builder additions
Hi all, This is my first post, although I have been a DF fanatic since the early days. And I've been loving Dwarvenite for all three kickstarters. The city builder specifically has raised my interest to a new level. And I have many ideas that I've have been planning to add to these wonderful pieces....
