Re: Siege tower miniature

I picked up the tower via Noble Knight, I have it primed but not painted yet. The player's temporarily derailed that plot line, but we'll get back to it in the next few months I'm sure. I'll post pics when I have them :)

Glow in the dark paints to use with DF

After years of sitting in the KS2 Mushroom pack (https://shop.dwarvenforge.com/collections/cavern-unpainted/products/mushroom-pack-dungeon-gray), I'm finally ready to start painting them. I would like to do a few of them in glow in the dark paint and I wanted to see if there was any recommendations ...

Re: Twitch Launch

I'm on the side of things where I wish this was not happening. I agree, no revenue and splitting their energies into something most of us don't have time for. Would rather the money was spent on warehouse space. It has much more to do with bringing in new customers than a resource for existing cust...

Re: Forum Timing Out

Hi, folks, we updated our system services in October, including our firewall, and evidently it is hyperactive. I will call into our hosting provider to see what can be done. Sorry for the inconvenience. If I open too many posts in tabs at once, the entire site goes down for me. Really, really sucks...

Re: more bustiness

Very, very nice work! Lovely gradation on the skin and the metal looks fantastic. I'm surprised you didn't put any blood on the metal though. Also, was this a 3-D print originally I presume?

Just wanted to say thanks for all the info, this kid of transparency is greatly appreciated!

Re: January 2020 theme build challenge: Worshipping the Frog God

We've ended up on "froggy moth" on grounds that it is the funniest way to say it, but I am dubious. I know that "froggy-moth" is wrong, but that's also how my high school group also pronounced it (this is back in the mid 80's mind you). It never hit me that it was just a combina...

Re: Everyone Enjoys a Nice Bust...

The skin tone on the drow is amazing I don’t know why but it’s really elusively difficult to get that light blue highlight purple shadow blend to work and yours is fantastic Thank you VERY much, it is one of the reasons I consider it my best miniature. As far as the color, I'm a graphic designer/il...

Re: Everyone Enjoys a Nice Bust...

Arravis, care to share some of your work? I'd love to see it. The bad news is that many of my old competitive miniatures are spread around the country, but I do have a few old miniatures I'll gladly show here. Some of these are from the mid 80's when I used to compete at the occasional con, some of...
