Re: Seeking advice regarding white paint

Thanks for the feedback. Unfortunately I have no garage space to do any airbrushing in. And just outdoors in the breezy air doesn't seem wise either. I mother used to airbrush some for advertising work and talked about colored snot, etc. Even with acrylic paint, that is not a good sign. I'm not sure...

Re: Seeking advice regarding white paint

I really wish I could afford the cost and space for an airbrush setup. I would require a very good hood exhaust system, I'm not sure if I trust myself to build a good one. And I'd really prefer a tank style compressor, that is very quiet. That adds up to a fair amount of money. But for base coating ...

Re: Seeking advice regarding white paint

Thanks. I probably will grab a white too. The paints are a great deal, especially with the sale. This will mean I have one of every color (I'm getting a second gray with this order though). I only have gotten unpainted dwarvenite. It takes soooooo long to paint, especially those brown bricks in dung...

Seeking advice regarding white paint

I have the original Pokorny paints for Dungeon Tiles, Caverns and Water, and am looking to get the new paints, plus lava ones, and black. However I am torn whether I need a huge bottle of white. The Stone Edge Drybrush is pretty bright, I would think it would serve as a lightening agent for most pai...

Re: A Beautiful Day in Valoria

Ooo look, a water trough. Not impressive compared to the castle stuff, but maybe that means more dressing for the town.

Re: Kickstarter email alert

Are the straight battlements the same as the ones from KS3? They look like it to me. That would mean those battlements atop the curved gate towers are curved versions of our KS3 battlements.

Re: New Paints, Open Water, and Walls

And who knows, if they had ordered more, maybe they could have made enough quantity to offer them at a lower price. $32 for unpainted open water is the same price per piece as the regular painted water set.

Re: Kickstarter email alert

Yikes is right. My hope is I can afford a nice facade like that which includes building options for a smaller tower or two. A full table (or multiple table) filling castle will cost many thousands I think, much like the city. The problem is a castle is most impressive with full surrounding walls, bu...

Re: Oddball Rooms & Partial Layout Ideas (+Add More+)

I think the 45 is my favorite Dungeon Tile piece (too bad the cavern version is undersized for some reason). I really wish I could have 50 of these things. They allow for the coolest layouts.
