Re: Report on dice4hire's Japanese black foam blocks

Wait, isn't the official unit of DF weight in panthers? Or was it kale and vodka...

Re: Oso'di'Balena - The Shrine of Umberlee

I was confused first too since I had no idea how you'd know my table was a cherry wood Geekchic table under the tablecloth. Then I figured it out

Re: Oso'di'Balena - The Shrine of Umberlee

Where did you get the blocks? USA Amazon: https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B079WNTPQ1/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 They're close to DF and nicely rounded. Good heft. I've bought five sets now. If DF had more elevation blocks in stock I wouldn't need so many! Silly webstor...

Re: Oso'di'Balena - The Shrine of Umberlee

The puzzle tiles bedevil me, so I made up a riddle and then picked stickers from that. The table is from McKeeMorology on Etsy: https://www.etsy.com/listing/690453479/series-2-lantern-table-with-flickering?ref=shop_home_active_7&frs=1 He has a ton of toppers which are all great. I'm planning on ...

Sysuul has Tiamat envy. Like the paint, nicely done. Very evocative.

Re: Grand Pieces - If you could only choose one...

I'd say it is closer to ceramic in feel and heft. Pretty tough though. I think I know what you mean by "plastic-feeling" and this isn't it.

Re: Oso'di'Balena - The Shrine of Umberlee

A few overview shots from before the session. Back of the fort showing how I supported it. Underneath most of it are the big Erinthor floor plates propped up on cavern/dungeon elevation blocks. IMG_20190713_195053138.jpg Low angle view of the front of the fort. Most of you probably know or can guess...

Re: Oso'di'Balena - The Shrine of Umberlee

And so the brave party of pirates succeeded in Umberlee's service and was blessed with a year of unstoppable prowess. I really enjoyed building all of this. The big tricks were building a lot of the verticality of the docks with castle-walls and using 2" basswood blocks from Amazon to prop up t...

Re: Oso'di'Balena - The Shrine of Umberlee

The party climbs down into the fortified shrine and makes their way towards the holy sea grotto within. Terrified (and sickened) guards and servants lead them forward fearing for their lives. Deep, deep within the fort... 9 - Slipery Stairs 2.jpg A few guards are quickly dispatched. What were they s...
